Nurturing Communities Through Collective Endeavour
Aatapi Seva Foundation, established in 2009, was conceived under the mentorship of TML Industries, a Shroff Group company, guided by visionary leader Mr. Tushar Dayal (Ex-MD, TML Industries). The foundation draws its spirit from the philosophy of People, Planet and Profit, believing that social responsibility is not an adjunct but the very foundation of sustainable progress.
Our journey began with a baseline study by the Kutch Navnirman Abhiyan in four villages—Gajera, Piludara, Kareli, and Vedach in Jambusar, Bharuch district, Gujarat. The study involved close interaction with local communities to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations. It highlighted the need to support single women, marginalized farmers, and persons with disabilities while strengthening community institutions. These insights shaped Aatapi’s initiatives in capacity building, livelihood development, social inclusion, and sustainable rural growth, enabling communities to move towards greater resilience and dignity.
